In her latest series of Eurovision covers, Jessica Spiteri from Malta has recorded the Spanish 2021 Eurovision song Voy A Quedarme / I’ll Stay by Blas Cantó.
Blas Cantó will represent Spain at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with Voy a quedarme (I am going to stay). On the special tv show, ‘Destino Eurovisión’, he was reunited with some former friends from his time in the Eurojunior 2004 selection.
Blas Cantó has released the two songs in contention to be the Spanish Eurovision 2021 entry.
The two songs in contention for Spain are –
Voy a quedarme (I will stay)
Memoria (Memory)
The Blas Team say: ‘Voy a quedarme’ – “an exciting, modern ballad where Blas showcases his vocal registers” and ‘Memoria’ – “uptempo with a lot of percussion and powerful expression”.
Blas was orginally chosen to represent Spain at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with Universo. The contest was cancelled due to the world health situation.

NIA & Blas Cantó have collaborated on a brand new release called Cúrame (Heal me). The song is an emotional power ballad.
Cúrame is available to stream or purchase from digital stores such as Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music and many more.
Blas Cantó will represent Spain at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest. A national final will take place in the coming weeks to select the song. Blas was originally selected to sing for Spain at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with Universo but the competition was cancelled due to the world health situation.
NIA (Nia Correia) was the winner of Operación Triunfo 2020 in Spain.
