Following allegations of drug use in the Green Room of the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final on Saturday 22 May, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), as requested by the Italian delegation, has conducted a thorough review of the facts, including checking all available footage.

One of the pre show bookies favourites, Maneskin “Zitti e buoni” held off a strong challenge from another of the pre show contenders Barbara Pravi ‘Voila!’ who represented France.
At the other end of the leaderboard, many were stunned as the early public vote results were announced and four countries failed to score with United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and hosts The Netherlands all suffering the ubiquitous “Null points” from the televote.

Måneskin have won the 2021 San Remo festival with the song Zitti e buoni (Shut up and good). They have now been confirmed they will represent Italy at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
