Several weeks ago I started to post about a Eurovision song with an original version and at least two covers. As ESC Covers is a COVERS website, one of two covers of the original song will be posted.

The 19th song is from 1988. It is NE PARTEZ PAS SANS MOI by CELINE DION for SWITZERLAND.  I started at 1970 and each day I will move one year. This year we celebrate 70 years of EUROVISION. ESC Covers will pick 70 Eurovision songs but we will not publish the original as those songs are well known. Instead we will pick a cover, in various languages and by various singers. There is no order, it is just as they come into our minds. One song per day will be posted. Björgvin Halldórsson, April 16, 1951 – April 9, 2025, was an Icelandic pop singer from Hafnarfjörður. He represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 with the song Núna, sung in Icelandic.He also often participated in the Icelandic national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, Söngvakeppnin, in 1986, 1987, 1989, 1990 & 1992.
