Vincent Bueno – ‘Amen’

Not unsurprisingly given the events of the past year, loss and grief are the topics for at least a couple of songs in this year’s contest.  What is a perhaps little more surprising though  is the fact that both are from male vocalists (Spain being the other at time of writing)

Austria’s offering from Vincent Bueno, is another powerful emotional balled replete with a rather catchy (though a slightly repetitive) chorus.

The vocal performance is engaging and judged on its own merits, the song has enough quality and appeal that a place in the final would be well deserved.
