EDEN ALENE of ISRAEL had her second rehearsal,
Sunday 9 May and the rehearsals started for the second bunch of songs from semi final one. ESC Covers have on line accreditation and a team of reporters will follow it in shifts and report for us. Here is the eleventh report from the first rehearsals of semi final one – that of Israel.
Eden Alene did a short gig in Tel Aviv ahead of flying to Rotterdam for the Eurovision Song Contest. Included in her set was a performance of Fuego by Eleni Foureira (2018 ESC Cyprus). Eden also provided some more surprises.
For the next 13 days until 10 May 2021, ESC Covers will publish the 39 CD singles of the 2021 Eurovision song contest. These designs were done by Stephan Herholdt and is a one of a kind.

Eden Alene has released a revamped version of Set Me Free, the song that she will represent Israel with at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

Israel completed its selection for Eurovision 2021 this evening with the public voting for ‘Set me free’ to represent them in Rotterdam.
Eden Alene has released three music videos for her songs competing in the ‘HaShir HaBa L’Eurovizion’ national selection in Israel.
Voting has begun and viewers in Israel can vote for their favourite song via a special app. The ‘HaShir HaBa L’Eurovizion’ show will be broadcast on 25 January and the winning song will be announced that will represent Israel at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
The three songs competing are –
- La La Love
- Set Me Free
- Ue La La
Eden Alene was originally chosen to represent Israel at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with Feker Libi, but the competition was cancelled due to the world health situation.

The third and last song under consideration for EDEN ALENE to be her entry to the 2021 Eurovision song contest in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is another LA LA song. This one is called UE LA LA. This is probably the weakest of the three entries.
