Kejsi Tola returns to perform on E Diell tv show on Top Channel, Albania

It has been a little while since we have heard Kejsi Tola sing but last Sunday she made a welcome return performing three songs on the E Diell tv show on Top Channel in Albania.

Kejsi performed the evergreen Over The Rainbow (performed by many acts including Judy Garland). She also performed the Rihanna song, Love On The Brain and Daddy Lessons by Beyoncé. Kejsi performed with a live band on the stage.

It was 2009 that Kejsi represented Albania at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest and the upbeat song Carry Me In Your Dreams.

Magazin release new song ‘ŽENA, A NE BROJ’ and will take part in the 2017 CMC Festival

Grupa Magazin will take part in the popular CMC Festival in Croatia to be held in June this year with their song ŽENA, A NE BROJ. The song has a beautiful Balkan style melody and features the charming vocals of Andrea Šušnjara (who sang Lijepa Tena for Croatia at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with Igor Cukrov).

Magazin previously participated at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest with Nostalgija and finished in sixth place. The lead vocalist then was Danijela Martinović (who also sang for Croatia also at the 1998 Eurovision) and was joined by Lidija Horvat-Dunjko.

Magazin have been one of the most successful groups in Croatia and the former Yugoslavia and beyond with many hits

ŽENA, A NE BROJ is composed by Tonči Huljić and Vjekoslava Huljić with the arrangement by Tonči Huljić and Leo Škaro.

Sasha Song releases official music video for ‘Never Felt Like This Before’

Sasha Song is currently participating in the 2017 Eurovizijos atranka in Lithuania and successfully won his way through to the next round of the competition after the first heat. Now Sasha has released the official music video for his song Never Felt Like This Before.

The video is upbeat and full of energy and highlights sport and ballet dancing and studying and learning. The song is produced by JUMÉ (BMG Music Publishing – bmg.com | justinmercelina.com) and written by Dmitrij Šavrov and Caleb Sutton. The vocal arrangement is by Dmitrij Šavrov. Backing vocals are provided by Lina Žilinskaitė, Eglė Lukoševičiūtė, Caleb Sutton, Matas Ligeika and Paulius Babenskas. The video is directed and edited by Mantas Sadauskasa and Audrius Dzimidavičius.

Sasha represented Lithuania at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with Love.

Sweden: Charlotte Perrelli confirmed for 2017 Melodifestivalen – according to Aftonbladet newspaper

The winner of the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden, Charlotte Perrelli (or Charlotte Nilsson as she was known then with Take Me To Your Heaven) will take part in the 2017 Melodifestivalen in Sweden according to the Aftonbladet newspaper in Sweden. Charlotte also participated in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with Hero.

18 names were mentioned so far in the Aftonbladet newspaper (although this has be 100% confirmed by SVT). They are –

Albania: Listen to Kastriot Tusha & Dorina Plaku – ‘Nostalgji’

A charming new release in Albania is Nostalgji (Nostalgia) by Kastriot Tusha & Dorina Plaku. Kastriot is a famous tenor vocalist in Albania and Dorina is a versatile and super talented singer, who has released several singles and videos, and competed in the Festivali i Këngës in 2009, also several times at Top Fest. She was also on the stage as part of the Albanian team in Moscow in 2009 with Kejsi Tola.

Nostalgji showcases the vocal talents of both Kastriot and Dorina and the song is performed with lots of emotion. The video is well produced by DArt Com and is released on You Tube through ArkivaShqip.

Alexander Rybak releases new single – ‘I Came To Love You’

Alexander Rybak has recently released his brand new single for the summer of 2016. It is entitled I Came To Love You. It is composed by Alexander himself. The song is a happy song for summer and the official video was filmed on the Greek island of Rhodes.

The music video is by Rustam Romanov and the song was mixed and mastered at Knut Bjørnar Asphol at Masterpool Studios. The violin is not present in the video.

Alexander Rybak won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest for Norway with Fairytale.

Magazin are back with ‘Ima Dana’ at CMC Festival in Croatia

Grupa Magazin are one of the most popular bands in the Balkans. They represented Croatia at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest with Nostalgija. Now Magazin are back with a brand new song for the summer of 2016. It is titled Ima Dana (Some days).

The lead vocalist for Magazin these days is Andrea Šušnjara, who is no stranger herself to Eurovision. She participated at the 2009 contest in Moscow with Igor Cukrov and the song Lijepa Tena. Andrea has also took part in 2004 Dora competition (Croatian national selection) with Noah and finished in second place.

Ima Dana is a song that is part of the 2016 CMC Festival in Croatia. It is composed by Tonči Huljić and Vjekoslava Huljić. The arrangement is by Tonči Huljić and Leo Škaro.

Ervisa releases her first official video for #Babylove

Ervisa has released her brand new song, and her first official video, for #Babylove. The song is composed by Joniad Banushi with lyrics by Big Basta. It is a high quality r’n’b flavour pop song with a strong production.

The video for #Babylove is very colourful and beautifully shot and portrays Ervisa’s elegance as she dances in the countryside wearing a lovely red dress with her blonde hair flowing. The director is Next Gutiner with D.O.P. by Endi Hoxha and published by OnAir Music. Make up was by Betty Beti.

Ervisa’s sister, Dorina, was on the Eurovision stage in 2009 as part of the Albanian team with Kejsi Tola and has also competed in the Festivali i Këngës. Ervisa is set to follow her sister and we may well see her also as one to watch for Eurovision in the near future.

Soraya releases her new single and video – ‘You Didn’t Do It’

Soraya represented Spain at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with her song La Noche Es Para Mí. She was also a popular contestant in the Telecinco tv show Operación Triunfo  where she finished in second place in 2005.

Soraya returns in the summer of 2015 with her brand new single called You Didn’t Do It. The song is a happy and upbeat commercial song and is a showcase for her forthcoming album.

Group Magazin are a very popular group that were originally formed in the 70s and are massively popular in Croatia and all the Balkan countries. Magazin represented Croatia at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest with the the song Nostalgija. Danijela Martinović was the lead vocalist at that time and she later also represented Croatia herself at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest with her song  Neka mi ne svaneLjiljana Nikolovska and Jelena Rozga were also lead vocalists over a period of time with the group. Tonči Huljić was the founder and key member of the group writing many top hits.

The lead vocalist with Magazin now is Andrea Šušnjara. She has also been on the Eurovision stage where she sang a duet with Igor Cukrov in 2009 with the song Lijepa Tena.

Magazin return with a brand new hit for the summer of 2015 and also a place in the CMC Music Festival in Croatia. The song is called Doktore (Doctor). It is an upbeat Balkan pop song with an eye catching video to support it. The music is by Tonči Huljić with text by Vjekoslava Huljić
and arrangement by Leo Škaro.
