In 1978 JAHN TEIGEN represented NORWAY at the Eurovision song contest with MIL ETTER MIL. He scored zero points but the Norwegian public liked his song so much, they went out and bought the single and the song became a classic in Norwegian music.

In the recent Olympic games in Tokyo, the 3 Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Norway and Sweden) performed well and won several gold medals. In a short series, we will celebrate their success in the form of Eurovision songs.
ADIEU – SARA SKORGAN TEIGEN
SARA SKORGAN TEIGEN, the daughter of Anita Skorgan and Jahn Teigen recorded the 1982 Norwegian Eurovision entry of her parents, ADIEU. It is only the third time she is performing in front of an audience.
JAHN TEIGEN OF NORWAY PASSED AWAY
It is with great sadness that we learn that JAHN TEIGEN from Norway has passed away. He represented Norway several times at the Eurovision song contest in the late 70’s and early 80’s. He also participated several times in the Norwegian selection, and one of ESC Covers favourite songs is GLASNOST.
