Several weeks ago I started to post about a Eurovision song with an original version and at least two covers. As ESC Covers is a COVERS website, one of two covers of the original song will be posted.
The 20th song is from 1989. It is LA DOLCE VITA by ANNELI SAARISTO for FINLAND. I started at 1970 and each day I will move one year. I will go on until there is hopefully one for each year that follows and then return back to 1970. Continue reading LA DOLCE VITA – ANNELI SAARISTO – FINLAND 1989

In 1989 NORWAY selected BRITT SYNNOVE JOHANSEN to represent them at that year’s Eurovision song contest. The song she sang was VENNERS NAERHET. Inge Enoksen composed the song and Leiv N Grotte wrote the lyrics (both totally unknown to me). I have the vinyl single with the original Norwegian song on th A-side and the English version WORDS OF FRIENDSHIP on the B-side.
