RALPH SIEGEL INDEX

The Ralph Siegel song index in the library section of the website was created 3 days ago and already it contains songs by 88 artists and a total of 223 songs/versions. Ralph has registered around 2000 songs so this can still grow a lot, but it is important to go through the CD’s one by one to make sure they are all listed. Hopefully it will be even more comprehensive by the time Eurovision in Vienna starts. I will later call for lovers of his music to tell me if there are songs missing which we can add.

San Marino have revealed the song that Anita Simoncini & Michele Perniola will perform in Vienna. It is called Chain Of Lights and it is composed by Ralph Siegel and John O’Flynn.

Michele Perniola represented San Marino at the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with O-o-o Sole Intorno a Me and Anita Simoncini was a member of The Peppermints who also participated at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Breaking My Heart.

NEW COUNTRY FOR 2016

In reaction to AUSTRALIA being allowed into EUROVISION 2015, I have now come up with an idea for 2016.

I have just written to RALPH SIEGEL to ask him to compose a song for NAMIBIA for 2016 and fund their entry into Eurovision 2016. After all, Namibia was a German protectorate and German is still widely spoken there. In the 70’s German singers like Heino and Tony Marshall had number one hits in their charts. Heino even sang a song about SOUTHWEST AFRICA as it was called before independence.

FORTH QUESTION – of 12

Today’s question is about Montenegro because many people commented on me wearing a Montenegro t-shirt during the interview last night with the KYKNET show, FLITS. I have received many t-shits over the years at Eurovision and have 41 of them. The Montenegro one is my favourite because of the little design that looks like a vinyl single. Any way, the question is that Montenegro had a song in Eurovision one year composed by Ralph Siegel. This is also the only Montenegro entry covered in Afrikaans. Give the title of this song.
