HOME VIDEOS – MOLITVA – DAMIR KEDZO
During the lock down in Europe over the Eurovision period in May, many Eurovision singers did home videos of other Eurovision artists songs. In the wake of ESC COVERS COVER2COVER singing competition, we will feature some of these so South African artists in particular can get an idea how it is done. Nor Bert of EuroVisionMusic picked the ones as he followed the whole series.
The third video is DAMIR KEDZO from CROATIA ( who would have taken part in Eurovision 2020 had it not been cancelled with DIVLJI VJETRE), covering the Eurovision winner from SERBIA 2007 – MOLITVA of MARIJA SERIFOVIC.
MARIJA SERIFOVIC – MOLITVA
MARIJA SERIFOVIC won the 2007 Eurovision song contest for SERBIA with a song called MOLITVA. She recently recorded a brand new video of the song that was broadcast on the Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light show. The video was recorded in Serbia during the lockdown.

Hi all, my name is Brett and I’m from Melbourne, Australia. Growing up, I had always known about the Eurovision Song Contest and watched it once or twice as a teenager, but it wasn’t until I met my partner Steve that I became totally consumed in the contest. Steve was always really enthusiastic about watching the shows and hosting parties – dressing up, serving food, decorating the house, scoring – so its not really surprising that some of that enthusiasm rubbed off on me. For over a decade we watched the ESC together, dreaming of one day finally attending – that day finally came in May 2013.
