Belarus will pick their 2016 Eurovision song on 22 January in a televised national selection. In the final will be a song with a contribution by esccovers.com writers. The name of the song is Turn Around and it will be performed by The EM. The text and chorus are by  Belarussian musician Alexander Yatsevich and the title and phrase are by our very own Colé Van Dais, Roy Van Der Merwe and Ian Fowell. The project is by Maksim Oleynikov.

The EM are Mikhaila and Egora. The are a male duo, who are both 18 years old. They were discovered on the Icon Scenes vocal talent competition in Belarus. A jury consisting of producers, musicians, vocal coaches, show exchange, stylists and journalists helped to select the fine young talent on display.

Maksim is still working on the final mix of the song and also is working with The Em to have a great stage production and choreography for the national selection.

R O W TOP SONGS – OOH AAH … JUST A LITTLE BIT

Next up we have GINA G and her song OOH AAH … JUST A LITTLE BIT, the entry for the United Kingdom in 1996.

I was in Oslo that year and for me there were so much better entries that I am very surprised this song became such a classic among the fans. originally I was surprised to find this among our top 12 songs but since Gina is Australian and the majority of people voting are Australian, maybe this is not a surprise.
