Time is running out. Singers from all over Africa has only 6 more days to pre-register for the first AFRI MUSIC SON CONTEST. Registration closes on 3 October – midnight South African time.
Right now artists from 41 countries have registered and some countries surprised us with tons of registration. Disappointments are Egypt and Kenya with just one artist each – surely there are more talent there. Although many artists have registered from South Africa, the disappointment lies with the Afrikaans artists, more English and black language artists have registered. Lets hope for a big last minute rush.

Chané Valentine is a promising young singer from South Africa. She has recently released her latest single and video clip for Plekkie in die son (Place in the sun). The song is a melodic upbeat and catchy pop song with a strong production. Chané’s vocals are confident and very clear and are perfect for this type of song. Plekkie in die son is written by Juan Boucher and is produced by Byron Keno.
Chané is very versatile and she not only a singer but is an actress and model and presenter. You can read more about her at her official website www.chanevalentine.com .
I am sure lots of Eurovision fans will like her style of music. You can check out the video clip for Plekkie in die son below.

Having wanted this for a very long time, finally South Africa will also have a EUROVISION concert. We are still working on many of the details but we will bring it as we get confirmation of certain aspects.
The first aspect is that the concert will happen on 16 DECEMBER 2015, which is a public holiday in South Africa.
Finally the time has come to publish the 6 covers of the compilation CD’s especially created to celebrate the fact that Eurovision is 60 years old. Over the next few days all 6 covers will be displayed. Once all 6 covers are on board, you can write to us on the website if you interested in winning such a compilation. You have to give us your name, whether you will be in Vienna or not and which of the 6 CD’s you would like if you are a winner – there are plus minus 100 copies to be won. A big thank you to Gerry of the USA for the wonderful designs.
