Athena Manoukian releases official video for ‘You Should Know’

Athena Manoukian has released the official video clip for her song You Should Know. The video is beautifully filmed and Athena performs with a lot of style and passion.

The music video for You Should Know is directed by Greg Stoikos and Athena. The creative director is Athanasios Drougkos and Athena and the  art director Athena Manoukian and Greg Stoikos. The editing is courtesy of Greg Stoikos and Athena. The styling is by Tony Couper and Angie Andritsopoulou. Thanks also for accessories to Personart by Angie Andritsopoulou and also make up and hair to Adonis Evangelou.

Athena was selected to represent Armenia at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with Chains On You but unfortunately the contest was cancelled due to the world health pandemic.

You Should Know is available to stream or purchase at digital stores such as Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music and more.

Paul Rey releases ‘Note To Her’ EP

Paul Rey has released an EP called ‘Note To Her’ featuring five songs.

The five featured tracks on the EP are –

  • Think About You
  • Richest Man Alive
  • Spell
  • There For Me
  • Talking In My Sleep

Paul Rey took part in the 2020 Melodifestivalen selection in Sweden with Talking In My Sleep. He will also take part in the 2021 Melodifestivalen competition.

Ukraine: Go_A release new single ‘Shum’

Go_A have released their brand new song called Shum (Noise). It is a stylish and upbeat electro/folk song with a powerful production and beat.

Shum is composed by Taras Shevchenko, Kateryna Pavlenko and Igor Didenchuk.

Go_A were selected to represent Ukraine at the 2020 Eurovision with Solovey. However, the competition was cancelled due to the world health pandemic. They will get another chance to represent Ukraine at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

Shum will not be the 2021 Eurovision song for Ukraine.

Watch: Azaliya and her new video of ‘Da budut tantsy’

Azaliya has filmed a new video for her hit song Da budut tantsy (Let there be dancing). The video was made in association with BST tv channel in Russia for a New Year show, ‘Novogodniy marshrut!’.

Azaliya has had a successful year after appearing on  the ‘Nu-ka, vse vmeste!’ show (Russian version of ‘All Together Now!’).

Vasil will return for North Macedonia at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest

Vasil has been confirmed by the local broadcaster, MKRTV, to represent North Macedonia again at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

Vasil was originally selected to sing You at the 2020 Eurovision but the competition was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

MKRTV have announced an open competition to submit a song for Vasil by 27 January.

Voting has begun in Israel for Eden Alene and her HaShir HaBa L’Eurovizion songs

Eden Alene has released three music videos for her songs competing in the ‘HaShir HaBa L’Eurovizion’ national selection in Israel.

Voting has begun and viewers in Israel can vote for their favourite song via a special app. The ‘HaShir HaBa L’Eurovizion’ show will be broadcast on 25 January and the winning song will be announced that will represent Israel at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

The three songs competing are –

  • La La Love
  • Set Me Free
  • Ue La La

Eden Alene was originally chosen to represent Israel at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with Feker Libi, but the competition was cancelled due to the world health situation.

Iceland: Birnir (feat. Páll Óskar) release ‘Spurningar’ collaboration

Birnir (feat. Páll Óskar) have released a new collaboration single called Spurningar (Questions). The track has powerful beat and strong production and has a feelgood factor.

Spurningar is produced by Þormóður Eiríksson and mixed by stereo.wrld. The mastering is by Glenn Shick.

Páll Óskar represented Iceland at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest with Minn hinsti dans.

Birnir is an Icelandic rapper and is very popular there right now with four hit singles and a number one album.

Malta: Listen to The Busker X Raquela with ‘Don’t You Tell Me What To Feel’

The Busker X Raquela have released a collaboration song Don’t You Tell Me What You Feel. It is a cool and contemporary and electronic pop song featuring the soulful vocals of Raquela.

Don’t You Tell Me What To Feel is from the ‘X’ EP by The Busker.

The music video was filmed by Luke Borg and directed by Luke with David Jr Meilak and The Busker. The track is produced by The Busker & Raquela and recorded and mixed at SUB Studios. The mastering is courtesy of Metropolis Studios in London.

Raquela has featured several times in the Malta Song For Europe selections (2011, 2013, 2014, 2017).

Mariette has released her latest single and it is called The One That Got Away. The track is a gentle and sweet ballad.

Mariette has participated four times in the Melodifestivalen selection in Sweden. In 2015 she sang Don’t Stop Believing, 2017 she had A Million Years, 2018 was For You and in 2020 she sang Shout It Out.
