In 2009 when Eurovision was in Moscow, they used Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova, who was filmed in image of girls of all the participating countries. Who should Ukraine get for a similar promotion, getting a girl/model to wear beads etc to symbolize each participating country?
We recently told you about the young and talented Veronika Kovalenko from Ukraine and her festive performance of Sneg i v’yugi’ and her success at festivals and competitions such as Ukraí̈na maê talant (Ukraine’s Got Talent), 2016 Pokolínnya Junior and 2016 Kiev Art Time.
Veronika has also recorded her version of Sound Of Silence by Dami Im (2016 ESC Australia). Her clear and youthful exuberant vocals are a pleasure to hear on this track.

Sofia Tarasova has just released her brand new single. It is titled Douzi (Rain). It is an anthemic pop song that builds strongly and it has a powerful production. The song is by Dmytryy Sysoev and Ivan Shmalyy(Taiga) and the arrangement is by Ivan Shmalyy(Taiga). It is a Sinegull production.
Sofia represented Ukraine at the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with We Are One and went all the way to second place.
Veronika Kovalenko is a young singer from Ukraine who has already achieved a lot of success and set for even more stardom. She has just recently performed on stage in a very festive show for this time of year with the song Sneg i v’yugi (Snow and blizzard). It is a very energetic performance and she is joined on stage by several dancers. The song is upbeat and catchy.
Veronika was a participant in Ukraí̈na maê talant (Ukraine’s Got Talent). She took the top prize at the 2016 Pokolínnya Junior and 2016 Kiev Art Time. She also appeared in Golos. Díti 3 (The Voice) and took part in Slov’yans’kiy bazar (Junior event) in Belarus and the Novaya volna (New Wave) in Russia and has achieve much other success in festivals and tv shows.
31 of the 42 Eurovision entries have made the ESC top 250 which was revealed on New Year’s eve.

The talented Anna Trincher from Ukraine has released a charming cover of the Adele hit, When We Were Young. Anna’s vocals sound clear and moody as she gives her own twist on the song.
Anna represented Ukraine at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Pochny z sebe.
