The X Factor Malta live shows began yesterday with 12 acts taking to the stage. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to two of those acts. Franklin Calleja (from the Overs category) and Kayati (from the Groups) were eliminated.
The 10 acts remaining are –
There will be three more live shows to determine the winning act and who will represent Malta at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Israel in May.

The 10 songs that will compete in the final of the Eurovision Gala of Operación Triunfo in Spain have been announced –
For 2019 any of the 16 selected Operación Triunfo finalists could have been picked to sing a song. There was originally 17 songs. The top three automatically voted for the by the public online voting made it to the final. The broadcaster TVE selected the other seven.
Famous was the overall winner of the 2018 edition of Operación Triunfo.

The X Factor Malta finalists have finally been confirmed. The Judges Houses round of the competition has concluded and the four categories have the artists confirmed for the live shows that begin next week –

Jonida Maliqi has won the Festivali I Këngës #57 with the song Ktheju Tokës (Restore the earth) and will represent Albania at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Israel next May.
The finalists that took part at the Pallati i Kongreseve in Tirana were –
The talented songwriter Eriona Rushiti is the composer of Ktheju Tokës. The song is dramatic and passionately performed by Jonida.

Tamta has been selected to represent Cyprus at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. The song she will sing is entitled Replay.
Replay is composed by respected composer Alex P. The song will be released in the coming weeks.
Tamta was born in Georgia and moved to Greece when she was 22 years old. She is very popular in Greece and Cyprus. She was the runner up in the Super Idol Greece and has released several successful singles and albums.
Tamta has just released a brand new single and video clip from The Bachelor 3 original soundtrack entitled Na Me Páreis Makriá.
