BELARUS AT EUROVISION – 2004
Belarusian broadcaster BTRC has been suspended by the EBU and therefore Belarus is not allowed to participate in Eurovision events. Let’s take a look at what Belarus has brought to the Eurovision Song Contest since 2004.
HEAVEN – JONSI (ICELAND 2004)
Recently we finished with our Top 100 which were compiled from the top 10’s of 103 people. Now for about 2 weeks, Roy of ESC Covers will do his top 20 of Eurovision songs he would have liked in the top 100 but they did not make it.
On a side note, a big thank you to Carolina of Peru who drew the beautiful Johannesburg Eurofriend, which we use as the featured image.

Listen to Zara & Jessica with their new song ‘Bättre’
Zara & Jessica have released a brand new song entitled Bättre (Better). It is a radio friendly and catchy pop song with good instrumentation and a strong production. The song is dedicated to those people with subtle memory disorders in alliance with Riksförbundet Attention.
Bättre is composed by Ylva & Linda Persson, Jessica Wetterstrand Sjöberg, Rickard Bonde Truumeel, Zara Kronvall Sigfridsson and Danne Sjöberg.
Zara & Jessica took part in the Melodifestivalen national selections in Sweden in 2003 (Genom eld och vatten) and 2004 (Älvorna) as then members of the group Sarek. In 2019 Zara & Jessica won the important Swedish radio contest P4 Nästa Kristianstad with the song Dansar med vinden.
