First semi-final in Estonia

The first semi-final of the 2015 Eesti Laul has taken place in Estonia. 10 acts performed and five have qualified for the final.

The acts and songs were –

The voting was a combination of jury and televoting. The five acts to progress to the final are – Elisa Kolk, Elephants From NeptuneRobin Juhkental & The Big BangersMaia Vahtramäe, The Blurry Lane.

Second semi-final in Iceland

The second semi-final of the 2015 Söngvakeppnin has taken place in Iceland. Six more acts performed and three progressed to the final.

The six acts and songs were –

  1. Haukur Heiðar Hauksson – Milljón Augnablik
  2. María Ólafsdóttir – Lítil Skref
  3. Sunday – Fjaðrir
  4. Regína ÓskAldrei Of Seint 
  5. Bjarni Lárus HallBrotið Gler
  6. Cadem- Fyrir Alla

The three acts to make it to the final are – María Ólafsdóttir, Sunday, Cadem.

The jury selected a wildcard for the final and that is Haukur Heiðar Hauksson.

Third Quarter final in Hungary

The third quarter final has taken place in Hungary of the A Dal competition. 10 acts performed and six more acts qualified for the semi-finals. Five of the acts were chosen by the jury and the sixth act by the televoting.

The 10 acts and songs were –

  • Boggie – Wars For Nothing

The five acts chosen by the jury were – Zoltán Mujahid, Boggie, Bálint Gájer, Other Planet and Kati Wolf. The act chosen by the public via televoting was Spoon.

Kati Wolf represented Hungary at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with What About My Dreams.

Three finalists confirmed in Lithuania

Five acts took to the stage in the sixth show in Lithuania. The acts performed two songs (one of which was a duet). After a combination of local jury, international jury and televoting three finalists were announced –

The three finalists are MiaMonika Linkytė, Vaidas Baumila. The next phase will decide what song will be performed in the grand final by all three artists.

King Of The World – the new single from Blue

Blue represented the United Kingdom at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf with the anthemic I Can. Now the boyband return with their brand new single from their forthcoming album, Colours. It is entitled King Of The World.

King Of The World is a retro sounding song with a Motown feel. The album will be released on 2 March. Blue consisting of Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe will embark on a 16 date tour of the United Kingdom from 21 March in Portsmouth and will conclude on 9 April in Leicester.

Blue are also currently featuring in a reality tv show on ITV2 in the UK called Blue Go Mad In Ibiza.

The boys are famous worldwide for popular hits such as All Rise, One Love, Guilty and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word with Elton John. They have sold over 15 million records around the world.
