EUROVISION 60th CELEBRATION – SONG 14 of 60
Next up is a real South African classic with around 15 people having covered it. It is the 1984 song IK HOU VAN JOU of Netherlands, originally sung by Maribelle. The song was introduced to South Africa 10 years after its Eurovision duet when Dana Winner covered it. We have picked the first Afrikaans cover done by boy band EDEN in 2001.
RUSSIAN COVERS OF EUROVISION SONGS
Andy has just send a list to RUSSIAN covers of EUROVISION.
Unfortunately I have last updated it in 2006

It is however great to have this available for fellow lovers of COVER versions
EUROVISION 60th CELEBRATION – SONG 13 of 60
The next song is very special. It is time for MACEDONIA and it is their 2014 entry TO THE SKY. The song on the compilation CD is a joint effort from TIJANA (the original singer) and RINEL DAY (the South African singer) and they are doing it in duet.
TURKISH VERSIONS OF POPULAR EUROVISION SONGS
I just had to put this on the website. It is from Ahmet Koncak and it lists several popular Eurovision songs in Turkish.
This is 100% the kind of item we love to place on ESCCovers

EURO COVERS FROM JAN FROM SLOVENIA
I am putting up a mail we just got from Jan from Slovenia. This is what we love and anybody you have done euro covers, no matter from what country and whatever song you did, we will feature it. This is the main purpose of the website, COVERS.
It’s Jan here from Slovenia, I noticed your website – first of all thanks for Ogae RoW FB team, who published my first Eurovision cover on their facebook page – it was Russian 2014 Eurovision entry “Shine”, which was covered by me & my little sister Linda, available here: http://soundcloud.com/vehar-jan/tolmachevy-sisters-shine-cover-by-jan-lindaA bit more than week ago I actually released one more cover, which is not really Eurovision, but it was part of Melodifestivalen 2007 – it’s “Cara Mia”, originally performed by Måns Zelmerlöw. Cover is available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQN4_y3_AJk
If you can help us with promotion with boths songs, we would be more than thankful!Best regards,
Jan Vehar, Slovenia

IT’S AMINATA FOR LATVIA
Last night, the Final of Supernova took place, choosing the Latvian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Four finalists took part in the show and in the end Aminata Savadogo took the crown and will be flying the Latvian flag in Vienna with her entry Love Injected.
Aminata missed out on representing Latvia last year when she came 5th in the national selection show which was won by Aarzemneiki. Will 2015 be Latvia’s year? Will they reach the Final in Vienna?
