Serbia announces Junior Eurovision contestant

Serbia announced this year’s Junior Eurovision contestant earlier today and for the first time, it’s a boy – Petar Aničić.

Petar will be the first boy to represent Serbia and has a YouTube channel (Patar Covers) where he showcases his vocal talents- check it out on the link below

In an announcement video on the official Junior Eurovision YouTube page, Patar provides some hints about his song, which will be released at a later date:

Daneliya Tuleshova once again pulled out all the stops with a visually stunning performance of  “Alive” by Sia in the first show of the final of America’s Got Talent.

State of the art visual effects transformed the AGT stage into an immersive forest environment for Daneliya’s final vote performance.

During the final results show, Daneliya returned to the stage performing a duet with Ava Max ‘Kings and Queens’

Daneliya’s night was to end in disappointment however as voting revealed she had not gained enough votes to finish in the top 5.

Despite this, Daneliya will have gained a large number of fans from her exposure on one of the world’s biggest TV shows and no doubt, has a very promising career ahead of her.

Ranina Tour 1 episode 2 airs

After setting record viewing figures for the first episode, the popular Junior Eurovision selection show ‘Ranina’ returned to Georgian screens this evening for the second show of tour 1.

The remaining 5 contestants all performed this evening on the tour 1 theme, acoustic/duets.

With all tour 1 performances now complete, Sandra Gadelia and Rati Gelovani hold a small joint lead as we head to Tour 2.

Voting underway for Russia Junior selection

Online public voting is now underway in the Russian selection for Junior Eurovision 2020.

11 contestants will perform at the final which will be recorded on the 25th Sep and is due to be broadcast the following day.

Voting is due to close on the 24th and at the time of writing, the current votes are as follows:

Danileya’s American dream continues

Daneliya Tuleshova continued to wow audiences on America’s got talent this week as she progressed to the grand final.

A noticeably more mature looking Daneliya, sporting a lavender trouser suit, performed a cover of ‘Who you are’ (Jessie J) to progress and secure her place in the final.

Georgia selection show ‘Ranina’ underway

‘Ranina’ the popular selection show for the Georgia representative for Junior Eurovision aired its first episode of the current season this evening.

With the contestants selected and announced, the show was originally scheduled for March/April, but fell victim to the Covid 19 pandemic.

This year’s show will be the third season following the selection of Tamar Edilashvili in 2018 and Giorgi Rostiashvili in 2019.

The show will follow the format of previous years with 5 artists initially each week performing in ‘tours’ or themed shows with no eliminations until the later stages.

Karina Ignatyan – Be Yourself

Following her highly regarded performance at the 2019 Junior Eurovision song contest and various teasers on her social media channels, Karina Ignatyan released her new video on YouTube today.

After a tongue in cheek opening which features a cameo of herself performing at Junior Eurovision, the visually stunning video features Karina emerging from a large oil painting to deliver her message ‘Be yourself’!’
