Karakat Bashanova – Forever – Official Music Video

Kazakhstan has once again pulled out all the stops to continue its recent tradition of producing lavishly produced music videos for their Junior Eurovision entries.

In this years visually stunning production for Karakat Bashanova,  the young artist is imagined in bleak landscapes where echoes of family member both past and present fleetingly appear.

The moving ballad  is dedicated to her recently deceased Father.

Lizi Japaridze ‘Toxic World’

Just a few days after her 2014 Junior Eurovision song ‘Happy day’ re-entered the official Junior Eurovision channel’s most watched video’s for September at number 2, Lizi Japaridze has dropped a new song and video on her official YouTube channel.

Titled ‘Toxic World’, the slick video introduces us to a more mature sounding Lizi tackling the theme of toxicity after relationships break down.

Set to an uptempo beat, there are hints of influences from Ava Max and other contemporary artists which evidence Lizi’s transformation from child star to contemporary artist.

Unity win for Netherlands

After a turbulent day in the Netherlands selection process; despite being a member short this evening, Unity won the Netherlands Junior selection contest and will represent their country in Warsaw.

Hours before the contest was due to take place at the Ahoy arena, it was announced that participants Robin and Demi from Unity had tested positive for Covid-19 and would therefore be unable to complete.

For fan favourite Robin, this meant withdrawing from the competition, while Unity performed with the remaining 3 members who went on to win.

Further Covid related issues notwithstanding, Demi will rejoin the rest of the girls to perform their song ‘BestFriends’ for the final in November.
