Sofia Feskova will soon represent Russia at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her song My New Day (Moy novyy den). Sofia has just done an interview for the children’s Teledetki tv channel based in St Petersburg, Russia.
Two correspondents from Teledetki tv, Darya Marchenko and Adele Fattakhova, interviewed Sofia and talked about her rehearsals and her plans for Junior Eurovision.
Sofia told how she starts each day and how she prepares for school. Then she goes to the rehearsal studio every day to prepare for Junior Eurovision. The school of Igor Krutov is helping with all the preparations for Sofia, and they put her through difficult but important rehearsal procedures each day to make a Junior Eurovision performance as perfect as it can be.
The 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 29 November. We wish Sofia lots of luck for the competition.

Barbara Rakicevic from the music video of ‘Posilno od se’
Barbara Rakicevic is a talented singer from North Macedonia. She recently released her new song called Posilno od se (Stronger than anything). It is a charming ballad sung beautifully and with lots of emotion by Barbara.
Posilno od se is composed by Andrijana Janevska. The audio was recorded at Ginovski music studio in Macedonia.

Funk You is the brand new single by Deep Zone Project. The track is an upbeat banger of a dance tune with a powerful production and some cute use of the violin instrument in the music break.
The track, Funk You, is composed by Deep Zone Project (music) and Dian Solo and Boika Shtereva (lyrics). The arrangement and mixing and mastering is by Dian Solo. The lead vocalist is Eva Maria.
Deep Zone Project represented Bulgaria at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with DJ, Take Me Away.

The official Junior Eurovision website today announced that Armenia has withdrawn from this years contest in Poland, citing issues related to the introduction of martial law in the region as a result of the ongoing conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) as the reason.
Further information was also revealed on the official Aremenia in Eurovision Facebook page, where we learnt that singer Maléna Fox had been selected and a song recorded.
On her Instagram page, Maléna posted “Considering the message of the song, our team and me have decided to release the song in the nearest future. Stay tuned, subscribe to my youtube channel for upcoming news.”

Vlera Kastrati is a talented young singer from Kosovo. She has had a lot of success in 2020 winning much respect and awards at various festivals.
Vlera won first place in the ‘WAPA World Vision 2020’ online contest organised in Armenia for the 10-13 years category. She won the top award for 10-13 years category at the ‘Brilliant Voices 2o2o’ International Online Vocal Competition organised from Monaco. She won the first place diploma at the ‘Rising Stars’ competition in Kosovo for the film/music section M category. Vlera also won the diploma first prize at the ‘World Music Awards 2020 – Best Little Pop Singer’ competition organised online in Las Vegas, USA.
Vlera was also a popular contestant on ‘Top Talent Albania’ this year. She also had the unique honour to be the Ambassador for Children of Kosovo in France.
Vlera is certainly a passionate and gifted singer with a big ambition to succeed in the music world.

Markus Riva x Samanta Tina have released official music videos of their new song Man Nesanāk (I can not get it) – Latvian version and Radi nas (Work for us) – Russian version.
Man Nesanāk is composed by Markus Riva and Gints Stankevičs. The Russian lyrics for Radi nas are by Igor Tatarenko. The song has a retro 80s feel with a strong production.
Samanta Tina was chosen to represent Latvia at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with Still Breathing. However, the contest was cancelled due to the virus pandemic around the world. However, she will get the chance to represent Latvia again at the 2021 Eurovision.
Markus Riva has repeatedly tried to represent Latvia at Eurovision. He has been in the Supernova national selection for the consecutive years from 2013 to 2020.
