COMPILATION CDs for VIENNA – part 1

Besides the 6 compilation CDs to celebrate the fact that Eurovision is 60 years old (the covers of these 6 will be posted soon — Gerry is still finishing his designs), we have a few copies left of the compilation CDs we had in 2014 in Copenhagen. These will be made available in Vienna. The first up is the compilation – EUROVISION WE SING YOUR SONGS VOL 9 – this CD contains Euro covers of 2013 songs and just 2 copies are still available. OGAE INTERNATIONAL ELECTIONS

Re: OGAE INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENTS’ BOARD

Dear Presidents,

According to the OGAE International rules, the new Bureau elections will take place at the next general Presidents’ Meeting in Vienna.
Elections will take place for each position:

*President
*Secretary
*Treasurer
*Board members (2)
*Deputy members (2)

You may find information for each position here: http://www.ogaeinternational.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=197&Itemid=197

Currently OGAE International is accepting applications for these positions. Any OGAE member, not necessarily being a board member of his national club, can send the application to any of the positions mentioned above. The persons interested have to send their application letter, a manifesto of sort, who they are, what is their connection to OGAE and what is their plan for the next 2 years should they get elected.

The actual elections will take place in Vienna at the Presidents’ Meeting. The Candidates do not have to be present during the Presidents’ Meeting, but it is of course advisable.

Applications deadline: 20th April, 2015, midnight.

Applications and discussion suggestions should be sent the applicant directly to OGAE International Secretary Alexandros Liapis at alexandrosesc@yahoo.com

The Peppermints represented San Marino at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with their song Breaking My Heart. The girls, consisting of Anita Simoncini, Rafaella Perniola, Greta Doveri, Arianna Ulivi and Sara Dall’Olio, have just released a second official video for Breaking My Heart.

The video on this occasion is to represent and promote Pisa, Ponte D’Era and Piaggio at EXPO 2015 in Milan. The video will of course show the Peppermints huge talent and unity as a group.

Anita will also take part in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, as she will soon reach the age of 16 years old. She will sing Chain Of Lights with Michele Perniola, representing San Marino in Vienna in May.

You can see the second video for Breaking My Heart below.

NEW LOOK HOME PAGE

Richard has been hard at work to give the website a new look on the home page, by grouping things together and re-arranging the page headings in more priority order.

We will also give the whole home page a new look – but that will happen after Vienna and we will also ask input from our visitors.

When the page was originally created, it was done just to have something to start with and now that we are up and running and with a lot of info on the website, we can start with a new look and experiment a little. I think we are the fastest growing website of the OGAE clubs and we could not have achieved this without the help of a lot of dedicated people. A big thank you for that.
