ESC Covers had the pleasure of attending the cast of Operación Triunfo 2017 concert in Seville in Spain. The show was held at the La Cartuja stadium with a large and enthusiastic crowd.

Every song and act was hugely applauded and it was amazing to hear the audience sing a long to all the words of Tu Canción by Amaia & Alfred (the 2018 Eurovision song for Spain).  There were other Eurovision songs too. Míriam y Thalía performed Euphoria (Loreen 2012 Sweden winner). Nerea sang a sensational version of  Quédate Conmigo (Pastora Soler 2012 ESC Spain).

We also heard two songs from the 2018 Spanish national selection – Lo Malo by Aitana & Ana Guerra (which has been an even bigger hit than Tu Canción in Spain). We also heard Camina (that all five acts from the national final sang but this was the whole group version here).

Congratulations to the whole Operación Triunfo for a wonderful night of entertainment. Let us hope that the next season is just as fun.
