Eurowizja Junior 2019 semi-final details released

From September 8, the cult “Chance of Success. Returns to TVP2. Opole 2020 “, hosted by Artur Orzech. The formula of the program refers to the first Polish music show by Elżbieta Skrętkowska, which viewers watched in the Two for nineteen years. Program participants will choose the type of background music and perform songs by the artist who assesses their vocal skills. For each rookie Artur Orzech will draw a song from the list of songs of the host artist in the program. Winners of individual episodes will be invited to the final concert, during which viewers will vote for the winner.

In the autumn season “Chance for success. Opole 2020 “will have a slightly changed formula – in the first three episodes TVP2 viewers will see performances of children aged 9 – 14 who will sing songs by Majka Jeżowska, Papa D and Blue Cafe. In the fourth episode “live” will face three children’s finalists, and its winner – chosen by SMS viewers in voting – will represent Poland in the Eurovision Junior competition, which will be hosted this year by Poland.

In the next episodes of the program with the repertoire of music stars, among others: Andrzej Piaseczny, Edyta Geppert, Jan Borysewicz, Krzysztof Cugowski, Kamil Bednarek and the band Ich Troje, debutants of different ages will face each other. The main prize for the winner of the program, selected in the SMS voting, will be the participation in the Opole concert “Debuts” named after Anna Jantar.

The guest of the program is the legendary singer Majka Jeżowska with the band. Seven children will face songs from Majka Jeżowska’s repertoire, and the winner of the episode will appear in the grand finale. The child who will win the final of the “Chance of success. Eurovision Junior 2019 ”, will represent Poland at the Eurovision Junior 2019, which in November 2019 will take place in Gliwice, Silesia.

Winners all heats (3 kids – one from one heat) qualify to final in 29th September. 3 Finalist sing two songs – covers (possible from heats) and songs dedicate for JESC. TVP use televoting in grand final.
