Kazakhstan has once again pulled out all the stops to continue its recent tradition of producing lavishly produced music videos for their Junior Eurovision entries.
In this years visually stunning production for Karakat Bashanova, the young artist is imagined in bleak landscapes where echoes of family member both past and present fleetingly appear.
The moving ballad is dedicated to her recently deceased Father.
In a surprise announcement on Belarusian TV this evening, Аrina Pehtereva was announced as the contestant that would represent her country at the upcoming Junior Eurovision song contest with her song ‘ПРИШЕЛЬЦЫ’ (Aliens).
Soleá has released the full version of her song Palante. This is the song that she will represent Spain with at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Palante has a positive vibe with modern and reggaeton beats. The song is composed by César G. Ross, Hajar Sbihi and Bruno Valverde.
Soleá is just nine years old and is from the city of Seville in Spain. The music video was shot in her home city.

PAVA has a great song with My Wave and is one to look out for in the Belarus Junior Eurovision national selection. It has a strong and cool dance vibe with a lot of energy.
It has not yet been decided when Belarus will reveal the song for the 2020 Junior Eurovision.
My Wave is composed by Anastasia Marchuk and Polina Pavlyushchenko. The arrangement is by Pavel Osipenko.
Polina Pavlyushchenko is PAVA. She wasa popular contestant in The Voice Kids Ukraine and took part in the 2018 and 2019 Belarus JESC national finals (also as part of the ZEFIR group).

After setting record viewing figures for the first episode, the popular Junior Eurovision selection show ‘Ranina’ returned to Georgian screens this evening for the second show of tour 1.
The remaining 5 contestants all performed this evening on the tour 1 theme, acoustic/duets.
With all tour 1 performances now complete, Sandra Gadelia and Rati Gelovani hold a small joint lead as we head to Tour 2.
The official teaser trailer for the Junior Eurovision song contest 2020 was released today.
Featuring last years winner Viki Gabor and her winning entry ‘Superhero’, the trailer showcases Poland’s landscapes and highlights the contest slogan ‘Move the world’.
‘Ranina’ the popular selection show for the Georgia representative for Junior Eurovision aired its first episode of the current season this evening.
With the contestants selected and announced, the show was originally scheduled for March/April, but fell victim to the Covid 19 pandemic.
This year’s show will be the third season following the selection of Tamar Edilashvili in 2018 and Giorgi Rostiashvili in 2019.
The show will follow the format of previous years with 5 artists initially each week performing in ‘tours’ or themed shows with no eliminations until the later stages.
RTVE Spain has revealed that Soleá will represent them at Junior Eurovision 2020.
According to the press release issued on the official Junior Eurovision website ‘Soleá Fernandez Moreno was born in Sevilla on 19 June 2011 and comes from one of the most important flamenco families in Spain’
RTVE will work with Soleá on the official song, which will be revealed in due course.
Unconfirmed reports are that Alexander Balabanov (Олександр Балабанов) has won the Ukraine selection for Junior Eurovision.
With only the jury voting being known, it would now appear that it is impossible for Alexander to be overtaken when the public vote closes tomorrow and therefore he will represent Ukraine in Junior Eurovision 2020.
The official result is due to be announced later this week.
