Amber returns with her brand new single and video – ‘What They Say’

Amber represented Malta at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with the anthemic Warrior. Now she has released her brand new single entitled What They Say. The track will be on her forthcoming album to be released in Europe and the USA later in 2016.

The song is composed by Matt ‘Muxu’ Mercieca and Elton Zarb, who were the team behind Warrior and also the great success of the two Maltese winning Junior Eurovision songs, from 2013 Gaia Cauchi with The Start and 2015 Destiny Chukunyere with Not My Soul as well as the highly respected 2014 JESC entry by Federica Falzon and Diamonds.

What We Say is an r’n’b/pop song that suits Amber’s soulful and bluesy vocals. The official video has also been released and you can see that below. The single is available to download from iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google Pay and other online digital platforms.

Minus One/Cyprus

Cyprus go for rock in 2016 with Minus One

The public broadcaster CyBC has announced that the rock band Minus One will represent Cyprus at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden. The band are very popular in Cyprus and actually took part in the Eurovision selection in 2015 with the song Shine.

The song will be composed by Eurovision veteran from Sweden Thomas G:son, who wrote the 2012 winning song by Loreen entitled Euphoria. It is expected Thomas will go back to his roots and compose a rock song for the competition.

Måns brings the Heroes Tour to London

As the winners tour concluded last night in Copenhagen.  Let’s have a look at some of the great moments that Måns gave us.  Back on the London leg of the tour, just outside London’s West End at the gay venue, Heaven, Måns delivered a very intimate concert to a massive crowd.  Performing most of his new album, Perfectly Damaged, but also some amazing favourites of the past.

He pleased the crowd by performing the Melodifestivalen 2009 finalist classic, Hope & Glory but it was the Mirrors Tung Version, which was a funk rock version of the song that still had an infectious beat.

He then sang the ever popular Cara Mia from Melodifestivalen 2007, which in my eyes still should of won of that year.

And of course no evening would be complete without the 2015 Eurovision winner, Heroes.  Annouced by Conchita and replaying that winning moment back in Vienna.

Overall, it was a night to remember and can’t wait for the next time that Måns stops off in London.  He is welcome back anytime.

Robert Bilbilov is a very popular producer, writer and performer in the FYR Macedonia and the Balkans. He produced the Macedonian entry Autumn Leaves for Daniel Kajmakoski at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

Robert has just released his new single entitle Ostani so mene. The music and arrangement are by Robert with some help for the lyrics by Aneta Kacurkova. It is a Just RB Production. The lyric video by Sky Eye Entertainment can be seen below.

Boggie Sings with First Class Stars in Vienna

Vienna State Opera and ORF will host a grand gala concert “Pop meets Opera” only two days before the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals on 17 May 2015.
The opportunity is a great honour and acknowledgement for Boggie as only five ESC singers and Austrian representative Conchita Wurst is invited to perform at the concert.
Placido Domingo and Juan Diego Florez will also sing at the gala and a joint surprise performance will also be presented to the audience.
Boggie’s performance will also be extraordinary as she will sing her song “Wars for Nothing” together with the children’s choir of the Vienna State Opera.
“After receiving the invitation from the Austrian organizers I was extremely happy and proud at the same time. I could not believe this is all happening to me. It was not even in my wildest dreams to stand on the same stage as Placido Domingo… Whatever happens in Vienna, I will be forever grateful to fate for this gift.”
Áron Sebestyén (co-author of “Wars for Nothing”) will accompany Boggie on piano in the Vienna State Opera where she will perform in a wonderful Elysian dress besides the singers of Armenia, Ireland, Cyprus and Norway.
The gala will be broadcast live on ORF.

Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila will represent Lithuania at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest with their song This Time and they will perform as the opening act of semi-final 2.

Now Monika and Vaidas have recorded the Lithuanian version of their song and it is entitled Dabar. You can here this version below.

Monika Linkytė & Vaidas Baumila will represent Lithuania at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with their upbeat song, This Time.

The duo have just released a new video for This Time which includes lots of kissing from invited guests from all genders. The video showcases the happiness and love the song portrays.
