ESC Covers continues our look at some of the acts and songs from The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022 selection. Today we look at Nicole Hammett with A Lover’s Heart.

A Lover’s Heart is composed by Joe Julian Farrugia and Cyprian Cassar. It is a classy pop song with Maltese and English lyrics and sung in Nicole’s stylish pop/opera vocals.

Nicole has had much success in festivals and competitions. She received the Golden Buzzer in Malta’s Got Talent in 2020, which took her direct to the final. She did a showstopping version of Highway To Hell by AC/DC in rock/opera style.

Nicole has previously recorded much acclaimed covers accompanied by music videos of Zero Gravity (Kate Miller-Heidke – ESC 2019 Australia) and La Forza (Elina Nechayeva – ESC 2018 Estonia).
