JJ won the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest for Austria on 17 May with the song Wasted Love.

Austria took the honours after a nail biting vote where Israel took the runner up position.

The pop opera ballad, Wasted Love, is composed by Johannes Pietsch, Thomas Thurner and Teodora Špirić (known as Teya and represented Austria at the 2023 Eurovision – Teya & Salena – Who The Hell Is Edgar?).
