Elhaida Dani has won the 53rd Festivali i Këngës with her song Diell (Sun) and will represent Albania at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.
After two semi finals held in Tirana the following 18 acts were the finalists –

- Venera Lumani – Dua të jetoj
- Altin Goci – Rock për gjithë jetën
- Gjergj Leka – Himn
- Klajdi Musabelliu – Vetëm te ti besoj
- Saimir Braho – Kristal
- Estela Brahimllari – Kjo natë
- Marsela Çibukaj – S’muj
- Agim Poshka – Në rrugën tonë
- Elhaida Dani – Diell
The voting was by an expert jury and they decided Elhaida Dani will fly the Albanian flag in Austria in May 2015 with her powerful ballad, Diell, written by Aldo Shllaku, Viola Trebicka and Sokol Marsi.
Elhaida Dani has appeared in popular festivals in Albania such as Kënga Magjike and Top Fest. She also won the Star Akademi show in 2009. Elhaida’s popularity grew even more after winning the The Voice Of Italy in 2012.
