For the entire month of February, ESC Covers will take every day a South African artist/group/duo on a virtual tour to Europe. We will visit 28 countries.

Day 21 takes us to ROMANIA. The SA artists who will be “touring” there, are the  duo HEUNING. Heuning is Jeanette van Staaden and Henk Dercksen.

They covered the 2017 Eurovision entry from ROMANIA YODEL IT by Ilinca featuring Alex Florea.  Heuning’s  Afrikaans cover is called DIE LIED WAT SKREE (The song that shouts).

Ian Fowell of ESC Covers is a friend of Alexa Niculae who wrote the lyrics to the original song.
