MIF feat. DaRina Ulanovska from Ukraine have released a new version of the popular song Maky Chervoni (Red Poppies) by composer Oleksandr Zlotnyk and poet Viktor Herasymov.
MIF members say – “Maky Chervoni” is not just a song but a symbol of memory and respect, resonating in the hearts of many Ukrainians. In their remake, MIF & DaRina Ulanovska preserved the depth of the original.
This song is a true treasure of Ukrainian music. Our goal was to convey its emotional power with a new sound so it would once again resonate in people’s hearts, especially among the youth.”
DaRina Ulanovska continued – “When we were working on this composition, I felt its depth and strength. It’s more than just music – it’s a story, a memory, and a sense of unity that we want to pass on to the listeners.”
