Amii Stewart headlined a special concert in Malta at the weekend. Amii was responsible for many worldwide hits in the 70s and 80s including the disco smash version of Knock On Wood.
Amii’s specially invited guest at the concert was Federica Falzon, who represented Malta at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the charming Diamonds.
Federica is blossoming in to a much respected opera singer, and she can also perform pop to, as well as being an actress. I am sure we are going to hear a lot more of Federica.

In Tbilisi at the Junior Eurovision song contest a great program book was handed out looking very much like those at ADULT Eurovision. Roy of ESC Covers had each of the 16 acts sign the book and for the next days we will post it. Today we can highlight the eight one – it is MALTA who ended with 107 points – Gianluca was our favourite.

Kurt Anthony is a promising and talented singer from Malta with a powerful voice. He has entered the online competition to try and represent San Marino at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest via 1in360.
Kurt also has his eyes on what would be a massive achievement. He is auditioning for America’s Got Talent soon. So, ESC Covers wishes him good luck in his goals.
Kurt has also tried for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest and just missed out on making it to the forthcoming final next year.

The talented siblings from Malta, Dario & Grecia Bezzina are hoping for success in the online selection process that will select the 2018 San Marino Eurovision act.
Dario & Grecia have uploaded a video of them performing 13, Strada Stretta. This is a song they participated in at the Maltese festival Ghanja Tal Poplu.

Kelsey Bellante is a talented young singer from Malta. She has just achieved much praise and 4 YESes on X Faktorius (X Factor) in Lithuania.
Kelsey performed Listen by Beyoncé and sailed through to the next phase by impressing the judges and the watching audience. Her powerful and clear vocals stood out and we await to see how she progresses in the competition.

Odessa Green is a talented and soulful singer from Malta. She has just released her brand new single and video clip for Unbreakable. The track is an anthemic and upbeat dance song that showcases Odessa’s powerful vocals. The production is also very strong and the song will sound great in clubs around Europe.
Unbreakable is composed by Toby Farrugia and is a Tobymusic Productions & Loudneighbor production.
Demi Galea is an up and coming talented singer from Malta. She took part in the 2017 Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest national selection.
Demi is currently taking part in the popular tv show The Entertainers – Singers Challenge (Category B) on Net tv. This week she sang Jealous by Labrinth and gave a classy and polished and mature performance with a lot of charm.
