SHAMAN will represent host country Russia at the Intervision 2025 contest to be held in Moscow in September. SHAMAN, whose real name is Yaroslav Dronov, is a famous Russian pop singer. His songs Vstanem (“Get up”); Ya Russkiy (“I’m Russian”); Moi boi (“My fight”), Ty moya (“You’re mine”), Samiy russkiy hit (“The most Russian hit”), Do samogo neba (“To the sky”) were collected by millions of listening in Russia and abroad.
SHAMAN collects huge audiences at concert halls and stadiums during his shows in Russia. A powerful voice, a striking image and a unique musical philosophy — that’s the kind of artist Russia is bringing to the international cultural dialogue that is Intervision. And Shaman says he is “very happy and grateful” for having been chosen to represent Russia.
SHAMAN presented his song for Intervision Pryamo po serdtsu (“Straight to the heart”) during Muz TV Music Award 2025 on 7 June. The author of the song is the famous Russian composer and producer Maxim Fadeev, who also wrote songs Believe me for Yulia Savicheva (Eurovision 2004, Russia); Song #1 for Serebro (Eurovision 2007, Russia) and Butterflies for 3+2 (Eurovision 2010, Belarus).
