A very interesting new project is happening now in Malta with the formation of the group, Medit Blu. One of the members of the four piece band is Clara Calleja, who recently held her first sell out solo concert. Also, in the group is Federica Falzon, who represented Malta at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The four members of Medit Blu have come together to celebrate and spread the charm and sounds of Mediterranean music which unites Malta and Italy. The manager of the band is Marilanda Majello, a respected and professional manager in this line of work.

Clara Calleja is a talented young singer with a unique voice and ability to capture the attention of audiences with beautiful melodies and clear vocals. Some of her inspirations are Fiona Apple and Birdy. Clara began composing music at 11 years old and she write about personal experiences and relationships. After graduating from Leeds Conservatory she has continued developing creative and different styles of music.
Federica Falzon is well known from her emotional and outstanding performance of Diamonds for Malta at the 2014 Junior Eurovision. She is a mezzo-soprano and she won the Italian tv show, ‘Ti lascio una canzone.’ She has a powerful and versatile voice which will add to the appeal of the group.
Alessia Passera is from Lombardy in Italy and she has had much success in competitions and festivals. Her experience and talent is necessary in the band.
Nicole Frazzini is from Rome in Italy and she also had been successful in many festivals and music contests. She will also be a key member in the four member group.
Medit Blu have just made their official debut at Radju Malta on Martin Sapiano’s popular programme, ‘Fit-Triq Tiegħek’ (On Your Way). The audience discovered the band’s energy and talent.
