PROMO SINGLE – NETHERLANDS

In recent years the Netherlands has not brought promo singles to Eurovision. This year, according to your knowledge, they brought nothing to promote their entry LIGHTS AND SHADOWS by OG3NE.We had seen some promo item that probably was handed out at the AMSTERDAM event. To not have the Netherlands spot in the library stay empty, we had this promo single designed.

The trio of Bobby Ljunggren, Hakan Almqvist and Ingela Forsman wrote the song  KARLEKEN TILL DEJ for ROBERT RANDQUIST in 1997.

SPOTLIGHT ON EUROVISION COMPOSERS – LASSE HOLM & GERT LENGSTRAND

The second in our series of songs by EUROVISION composers – songs that were not their Eurovision entries.

Today it is HENRIK ABERG who is a Swedish singer (probably unknown outside of Sweden) and his song JENNY OCH JAG.

The song has two composers and both are Euro composers:
LASSE HOLM – he is most known as one of the composers of the 1983 Eurovision song of Sweden – Framling of Carola Haggkvist.
GERT LENGSTRAND – he is most know as one of the composers of the 1999 Eurovision song of Sweden and eventual winner that year – Take me to your heaven of Charlotte Nillson.
