Germany held the final of the 2015 Unser Song für Österreich last night and there was drama right to the end. Andreas Kümmert was declared the winner. However, he declined the chance to represent Germany in Vienna. Therefore, the runner up Ann Sophie with her song Black Smoke will represent Germany at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

Four acts progressed to round two where they performed a second song –

Then two acts made it to the super final with their own choice of song –

Then we had the drama where Andreas was announced as winner and he handed the opportunity over to Ann Sophie to represent Germany in Vienna. Ann Sophie was the recent winner of the German Wild Card show.
Iris Hoxha won the newcomers section of the 2009 Festivali i Këngës competition in Albania and made it to the final with much acclaimed performance of her song Zërin tim ta ndjesh. She has since gone on to much success in her homeland with many hits. This all follows her early success of winning the Star Akademi show in 2008.
Now Iris returns with a brand new song with rapper EDB. The song is called Une mbret ti mbretereshe (A King to Queen). The song is part of the important Top Fest 12 festival in Albania. The song is a r’n’b rap song complemented by the fine vocals of Iris. The song is set to be a big hit in Albania and Kosovo.

The local broadcaster, RTP, held the first of two semi-finals yesterday in the 2015 Festival da Canção. Six acts competed and three were selected to progress to the final to be held on Saturday 7 March.
Two songs were selected by televoting and one by expert jury. The three acts and songs to qualify for the final were –
Leonor Andrade – Há um Mar que nos Separa (TELEVOTING)
Eldrine from Georgia rocked the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with One More Day. Now they return with their brand new song and video, Addiction. It is a strong rock song that we can imagine on the radio or at a live gig where they would perform this very effectively.
The video has a message of recent news stories around the world that will shock some viewers including footage of wars and poverty.
Sopho has very powerful lead vocals and she is joined by Miken, DJ BE$$, Bibo and Chango.

Marianna Hovhannisyan is a popular and beautiful singer from Armenia. Recently we told you that she is becoming popular in China. Marianna has now performed on the biggest Chinese New Year tv celebrations on CCTV.
Marianna performed My Heart Will Go On (by Celine Dion) and some Chinese Opera. Her talents are truly appreciated in China where she is currently residing.
Marianna sent her song Love Me More to the Swiss Eurovision selection in 2011 and has had many hits in Armenia including Siraharvats, Du, Qez and Sere Sirov.

Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät will represent Finland with Aina munpitää. The song is only 1 minute and 25 seconds long and is performed by the punk rock band with learning disabilities including autism and Down syndrome. They are also known as PKN.

Eduard Romanyuta won the 2015 O Melodie Pentru Europa final in Moldova. He will carry the Moldovan flag with his song I Want Your Love to Vienna. Eduard is from Ukraine.

The group Passed were one of the finalists at the 2015 A Dal in Hungary. In th quarter-finals and semi-finals they scored the top points from the expert jury. The song Mesmerize is a big hit right now in Hungary.

Zoltán Mujahid was one of the final four at the 2015 A Dal competition in Hungary. His melodic pop sound and strong stage performance excited the public and the jury. His song is called Beside You.
