Every year ESC COVERS try to do a special post around the time of RALPH SIEGEL’s birthday.

In celebrating RALPH SIEGEL’s 81st birthday, we look at an Afrikaans cover of one of the songs he wrote OUTSIDE of Eurovision. The song is called DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH. Despite the obvious English title, the cover is totally in Afrikaans.  It is by CARIKE KEUZENKAMP & JOHAN  STEMMET. Actually the original German song DO  YOU SPEAK ENGLISH by CHRIS ROBERTS also has the English title, and there is also a Danish cover of the song and again the title is DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH.

RALPH, enjoy your 81st birthday and good health going  forward.
