JIVA has been announced as the singer for Azerbaijan at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest. The selection was made internally after 100 singers were whittled down to just three. A special team finally decided JIVA would go to Vienna in May.

Jamila Hashimova is the real name of JIVA. She won ‘Səs Azərbaycan’ (The Voice of Azerbaijan) in 2025 and even participated in the Azerbaijani Eurovision selection in 2011.

The song for Eurovision 2026 for JIVA will be released very soon but in the meantime check out a recent music video by her of İsti Nəfəsin (Your warm breath) below.
