Fan Experiences: Eurovision and Me

This is my first time going to a Eurovision ever. I just recently got into this whole ESC fever last year, so I’m really excited about what to expect in Vienna. I’ve heard there’s a lot of stuff going on in the host city that week, and for that reason, I’m planning on going there the whole week to check all the concerts, all the parties, and specially the meet and greets with all the artists there.

Before catching the fever, I used to watch Eurovision every now and then, when I happened to come across the show while zapping on my TV, but I’ve seen an enormous improvement in the past few years in compare with the Eurovision of the 90’s. It’s amazing what technology and globalization is capable of. Seeing so many new and modern rhythms get mixed with traditional and regional sounds and languages is something incredible, and watching the level of production that goes into the stages, graphics and organization, will never seize to make my jaw drop.

I’m going to be rooting for France next ESC 2015, but would be nice to see Spain do well next year too!!!

Hopefully we can meet and share a great week together next year.
