EUROVISION ARTISTS – COSTUMES THAT GOT ATTENTION – GOOD OR BAD – ITALY 2021

Today Morten Thomassen writes about the Italian 2021 entry and what the four members of the group wore. ESC Covers google translated it from Norwegian to English.

Some people, I would say, are lucky enough to be able to wear almost anything they want and still look cool and tough.

Someone who falls under this category is the Italian group Maneskin.

I guess I have a feeling that what they’re wearing is probably more thought out than we might want to know.

However, they push the limits in many areas costume-wise and they don’t seem to care very much that what they are wearing was possibly not intended for the gender they themselves are.

And that’s the way it should be, because Måneskin manages, even with fairly outlandish costumes, to make us watchers concentrate on the music and thus not on what they’re wearing.

Right on the final night in Rotterdam, the next ones were what we can call uniformed in a way, but I don’t think many others had suggested what they wore as a uniform for example to the school band, it should work out.

I think many people see these four in the group as fine representatives of daring to stand out and be unique on your own terms.
