The German group WIND first participated in the Eurovision song contest in 1985 with FUR ALLE and came 2nd. In 1987 WIND again represented Germany at the song contest, this time with the song LASS DIE SONNE IN DEIN HERZ and it also came 2nd. In 1992 WIND represented Germany a 3rd time at the song contest, this time with TRAUME SIND FUR ALLE DA. This entry was not very successful. Norway was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 with the song “Visjoner”, composed by Robert Morley, with lyrics by Eva Jansen, and performed by Merethe Trøan.
