THE NEW WIND SONG IS CALLED TANZEN TRAUMEN
The German group WIND first participated in the Eurovision song contest in 1985 with FUR ALLE and came 2nd. In 1987 WIND again represented Germany at the song contest, this time with the song LASS DIE SONNE IN DEIN HERZ and it also came 2nd. In 1992 WIND represented Germany a 3rd time at the song contest, this time with TRAUME SIND FUR ALLE DA. This entry was not very successful. NORBERT’S EUROVISION WINNER – 1985
Norbert from LOVE FOR MUSIC facebook together with Roy of ESC COVERS website have started a new series. Norbert has been following the Eurovision Song Contest for years, some favorites remain others had to make way for new favorites. In this series we will post Norbert’s winner of each Eurovision year.
LOOKING AT THE NORWEGIAN EUROVISION ENTRIES – 1981 TO 2025 – 1985
Fortunes changed for NORWAY in 1985. After having come last and even getting zero points several times, they finally won the Eurovision song contest for the first time in 1985 with LA DET SWINGE. It was performed by a female duo called BOBBYSOCKS. This duo was made up by HANNE KROGH and ELISABETH ANDREASSEN. My vinyl single has both the Norwegian original and the English version on it. The English version is called LET IT SWING. Rolf Lovland wrote the original song and Alixzandra wrote the English lyrics.
