In 2009 when Eurovision was in Moscow, they used Miss World 2008 Ksenia Sukhinova, who was filmed in image of girls of all the participating countries. Who should Ukraine get for a similar promotion, getting a girl/model to wear beads etc to symbolize each participating country?
The third round of the 2017 A Dal national selection continued in Hungary where six acts qualified for the next round –

The current Eurovision champions , Ukraine, held the first of three semi-finals. Eight acts competed and two lucky qualifiers have made it to the final.
The eight acts –

The judges included Jamala (2016 winner of ESC for Ukraine) and the 2007 competitor for Ukraine Verka Serduchka (Andriy Danylko).

The second heat of the 2017 A Dal national selection took place in Hungary at the weekend. There was a break last week as a mark of respect for the tragic accident involving Hungarian students in Italy.

The fourth heat of the 2017 Eurovizijos dainų konkurso nacionalinė atranka took place in Lithuania and four more acts progressed to the next phase.

Celebrate Diversity – 2017 Eurovision Song Contest theme and logo
The theme and the logo for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Kiev, Ukraine was revealed today. Celebrate Diversity is the message for the contest this year and a unique logo has been designed based on Ukrainian bead necklaces called Namysto.
The Eurovision Executive Supervisor, Jan Ola Sand, explained “The notion of celebrating Diversity builds on last year’s theme of ‘Come Together’ and is at the heart of Eurovision values: it is all inclusive and all about countries around Europe, and beyond, joining together to celebrate both our common ground and our unique differences, as well as some great music.”
39 acts auditioned in Moldova and 14 have been selected to advance to the semi-final stage.
