GERARD JOLING represented the Netherlands at the 1988 Eurovision song contest with a song called SHANGRI-LA.
COMPOSER JIM STEINMAN PASSED AWAY
Composer and producer JIM STEINMAN passed away a few days ago. Although he has not written a Eurovision song or produced one, at least three Eurovision singers recorded songs he had composed.

Recently we finished with our Top 100 which were compiled from the top 10’s of 103 people. Now for about 2 weeks, Roy of ESC Covers will do his top 20 of Eurovision songs he would have liked in the top 100 but they did not make it.

HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY TO BIG MOSCOW CIRCUS – CLOWN – AFRODITI FRIDA
The Great Moscow State Circus was opened on 30th of April 1971. It was designed and built under the guidance of I. Belopolsky. Its impressive auditorium is an enormous 36 meters tall and can seat up to 3,400 people. So in just over two months time, it will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
