A few months ago I started to post about a Eurovision song with an original version and at least two covers. As ESC Covers is a COVERS website, one of two covers of the original song will be posted.

The 28th song is from 1997. It is ALE JESTEN by ANNAMARIA JOPEK for POLAND. I started at 1970 and each day I will move one year. I will go on until there is hopefully one for each year that follows and then return back to 1970. The two covers selected of ALE JESTEN is NUWE DAG by STEVEN STERLING in Afrikaans and AVARUUTEEN by ANNELI SAARISTO in Finnish.

The choice to post is AVARUUTEEN by ANNELI SAARISTO.
