The ESC COVERS reporting team of IAN FOWELL and ANDY RICHARDS are in Basel although they are actually living across the border in France (like several people who could not afford the sky-high prices in Basel).

Ian and Andy traveled from Manchester to Basel (direct flight) with EASY JET.

They sent me a photo of the in flight magazine which has one of the Switzerland Eurovision presenters on the cover.

It is SANDRA STUDER, who actually participated for Switzerland at the 1991 Eurovision song contest with CANZONE PER TE. She sang under the name SANDRA SIMO.
