ESC Covers is proud to be involved with a brand new cover version of Heroes (the winning song of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest by Måns Zelmerlöw for Sweden). This is a hot and unique duet version by Dalita & Sergey Sysuev.

Dalita sings the first verse in the Armenian language and Sysuev performs the second verse the Ukrainian language. Together Dalita and Sysuev sing the chorus in English. The Armenian lyrics are by  Elita Harutunyan and the Ukrainian lyrics by Sergey Sysuev.

Dalita is a very popular and beautiful singer, actress, model and tv personality and represented Armenia at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Welcome To Armenia. She has had many hit songs and video clips such as Crazy GenerationMenak Chenq MenqDepi Nor Mi Kyanq and Mam jan.

Sergey Sysuev is a talented and respected pop and r’n’b and dance singer and songwriter from Ukraine. He has had success with a variety of hit songs and videos such as Fire In My Soul, Every Single Part, Great Escape and Dark Side Of Your Heart.

Special thanks for this project to Roy van der Merwe, who has been involved in making it possible for many unique cover versions and duets since 1995 in South Africa and beyond.  I am the author of this article, Ian Fowell, and I am personally very happy to be involved in the organisation of this beautiful venture. Ian met with Dalita and Sergey and realised the opportunity and ability of them to make a great duet.  Thank you also for the wonderful production by Rick Wolff from South Africa.

Christiana Loizu is a talented singer with an interesting background in music. She is from Cyprus but went to Bulgaria to study. Christiana liked the country so much she decided to stay there.

In 2015 Christiana decided to enter the Bulgarian X Factor and she won the show!! Now she is doing very well and has a good music career there.

Christiana has so far released two singles with beautiful video clips. The first song is sung in English and is entitled Phoenix which was composed by Joacim Persson, Sebastian Arman, Andy Love and Sarah West. The second song is performed in the Bulgarian language and is called Edno v edno (One in one) and is written by  Ollipop, Hayley Aitken and Jai Waetford.

Christiana is certainly worth checking out and listen out for more of her music soon.

Listen to ‘V tishine mysley’ – the new single by Diana Gromova

Diana Gromova has released a brand new single for the spring of 2018. The song is entitled V tishine mysley (In the silence of thoughts). It is an upbeat dance song that has a strong bass production.

V tishine mysley is composed by Vlad Chizhikov and produced by the Tone Twins.

Diana is from Belarus and she continues to work hard and release some very strong music productions.

Sophia Patsalides has released a brand new single entitled Break Up The Silence. The track features Kris Shades. It is an upbeat pop number with a strong production.

Break Up The Silence is available to purchase and stream from digital platforms such as iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

Sophia represented Cyprus at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest is currently based in the United Kingdom.

Aitana & Ana Guerra have released the official video clip and new version of the song Lo Malo (The bad). The song finished third in the Spanish national selection for Eurovision this year and has since gone on to be big hit in Spain and beyond.

Aitana and Ana Guerra took part in the 2017-18 season of the popular tv show Operación Triunfo. Alfred & Amaia were chosen to represent Spain at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest and Amaia eventually was the overall winner of Operación Triunfo.

Aitana was the runner up in the tv show and Ana Guerra finished in fifth place in the final.

Anna Trincher releases new song and video clip for ‘Zhyvy’

Anna Trincher returns with a brand new song and video clip. It is entitled Zhyvy (Life). It is a ballad sung with deep emotion by Anna. You can see that she (without understanding the language) that she believes in every word of the song and the meaning behind it.

The music and lyrics are by Andrey Osadchuk. The recording and mixing are by Dmitry Chabanov. Also thanks to the actor in the video Bogdan Osadčuk.

Anna is currently taking part in The Voice of Ukraine – Season 8 and represented Ukraine at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Emmelie de Forest releases video clip for ‘History’ track

Emmelie de Forest has released a brand new video clip for her song History. The track is lifted from the ‘History EP’ released in February this year that features seven songs.

History is an uplifting pop song that showcases Emmelie’s versatility as an artist.

Emmelie won the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest for Denmark with Only Teardrops.

The ‘History EP’ is available to purchase or stream via most digital platforms such as iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify and more.

Swaziland win the first AfriMusic Song Contest with Symphony and ‘Sengikhona’

Congratulations to Symphony with her song Sengikhona for winning the first ever AfriMusic Song Contest. It is a beautiful and soulful ballad. Sengikhona is composed by Zanele Cele.

Symphony has released a Sengikhona EP and it is available on most digital platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer and more.

The manager of Symphony is King Siso. He is also a singer and performer and is the boyfriend of the four times San Marino participant at Eurovision, Valentina Monetta.

Symphony will be in Lisbon, Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest to celebrate and promote her success.

Check out the sensational cover and video clip of ‘La Forza’ by Nicole Hammett

Nicole Hammett is a very promising pop/opera/soprano singer from Malta. She has just covered the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest entry of Estonia, La Forza, by Elina Nechayeva.

Nicole has done an amazing version of this operatic pop song. Her vocals are crystal clear with lots of emotion in her voice.

Nicole has produced a splendid and colourful video clip for the song. It is beautifully shot and Nicole looks charming and delightful.

Congratulations to Nicole and everybody involved in this fabulous project. I am sure we will be hearing a lot more of Nicole in the future.
