Elina Cholokhyan from Armenia has achieved big success by winning the top prize at the World Association of Performing Arts – WAPA International Vocal Contest – Music Talent League 2018 held in Vilnius, Lithuania.

There was also success for other talented Armenian singers in the festival Marianna Brsikyan in the Pop category and Musicl took second place award; Satenik Sahakyan in Pop and Jazz took first priz and Karen Ohanyan took the Pop first prize and Elina took the overall first prize.

Sara Dall’Olio wins the Grand Prix at the 2018 Abanico festival in Bulgaria

The young and talented Italian singer, Sara Dall’Olio, is again enjoying much success in a top festival. This time Sara took the Grand Prix award at the 2018 Abanico festival in Bulgaria. It took place in the capital city, Sofia. It was the seventh edition that took place over the weekend of 23 to 25 March. The competition is for singers, dancers and musicians.

Sara won the category for over 18 years age. On the first day she performed the classical song, Caruso. Then on day two she sang I Surrender by Celine Dion. Finally on day three in the Gala phase, Sara performed another famous classical song, Adagio.

Over in Bulgaria with Sara was the artistic dancer, Ilaria Eleonora Maresca. She won the 2 prize – she is 15 years old. She gave a Latino performance.

Armenia: Watch again Dalita perform her song ‘Keep Calm and Just Dance’

ESC Covers reported in November 2017 that Dalita performed at the good luck and farewell show at the new RIO mall in Yerevan, Armenia, for Misha to go to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She performed Keep Calm and Just Dance.

Let us look at another performance of Dalita performing this upbeat and catchy song. This time the performance was at a New Year show.

Coming soon is an exciting duet by Dalita of a classic Eurovision song.

Anna Trincher wins through The Battles round in The Voice of Ukraine

Anna Trincher continues to impress on Golos Krainy (The Voice of Ukraine). Anna took on a tough challenge with Sofia Kistruga in The Battles round where both girls performed the international hit by Dua Lipa, Blow Your Mind. It was a great battle and Anna won through to progress to the next round.

Jamala (winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest) chose Anna to go to the next phase. We will continue to monitor Anna’s progress in the competition. Stay tuned to ESC Covers.

One of the other judges on Golos Krainy competition this year is Tina Karol (2006 ESC Ukraine).

Natalia Szroeder has released her brand new single entitled Parasole. It is an upbeat song that means a lot to Natalie that tells a story of what the heart says to do but common sense should also prevail.

Natalia took part in the Polish Eurovision national selection in 2016 with Lustra.
