EUROVISION SONG VERSUS COVERS – UN BANC, UN ARBRE, UNE RUE
In a current series, we will look for 30 days to a Eurovision song and two covers of that song to compare if maybe someone who covered it, did it better than the original.
The Eurovision song is UN BANC, UN ARBRE, UNE RUE, the 1971 Eurovision entry by SEVERINE for Monaco. It was sung in French at the contest. It turned out the winning song that year. The first cover is by VIRGINIA LEE A BRAND NEW DAY and is in two languages English and French while the second cover is by KIRSTI SPARBOE PA EN GAMMEL BENT and is in Norwegian.

3 Norwegian artists teamed up to cover the 1968 Eurovision winner from Spain LA LA LA. They are Kirst Sparboe, Oddvar Sanne & Arne Bendiksen.
EUROVISION COVER – UN BANC, UN AMBRE, UNE RUE (Norwegian)
Kirst Sparboe from Norway covered the 1971 Eurovision winner from Monaco as PA EN GAMMEL BENK. The video front says incorrectly it is a Swedish cover.
