Inis Neziri will be a special guest at the Romania Eurovision Selecţia Naţională 2019 final

Inis Neziri will be a special guest this coming weekend at the grand final of the Selecţia Naţională 2019 in Romania.

Inis returns to the country where she triumphed in 2018 as the Grand Trophy Winner of the Cerbul de Aur (Golden Stag festival). She performed two songs during those memorable days – Dau Viața Mea Pentru O Iubire (originally by Monica Anghel) and Piedestal (the big hit by Inis from Festivali i Këngës #56 in Albania).

ESC Covers will bring your more coverage about the Romanian Eurovision and of course the performance by Inis.

Efi releases ‘Happy Birthday’ teaser video…..and she wants to sing at your birthday celebration!!!!!

Efi Gjika is set to release her brand new single on 14 February entitled Happy Birthday. She has released a teaser video and the song will be released on 14 February.

To celebrate this exciting release Efi has decided announce a big competition and YOU can be the lucky winner!!! Efi will fly to YOUR COUNTRY with her team at your birthday (at Efi’s expenses) and record YOUR BIRTHDAY live with Efi singing as part of the video clip.

The Rules: –

  • Follow @efigjika on Instagram and tag three friends (he or she should follow Efi as well)
  • Comment why Efi should come to your birthday and sing her song Happy Birthday and visit your country.
  • The winner should have a birthday party from 1 March to 30 April 2019 and be from 9 to 16 years old.  (Efi would like to do all year but the video clip and song should be published by May 2019.
  • On 14 February 2019 at 18:00 pm local Albania time will be chosen random live three persons. From those Efi will choose randomly the ONE lucky winner ! (details will follow in your inbox from the management team).
  • The contest is only eligible on Instagram @efigjika.  Good Luck to everybody!

Efi charmed us all as she represented Albania at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with Barbie.

Duo Voche

Duo Voche are a charming and unique twosome who perform a unique and variety of music and violin arrangements at events such as concerts, important ceremonies and cocktail parties.

Enalda Shehu and  Arbëreshë Ademi are Duo Voche. Enalda is from Albania and  Arbëreshë is from Kosovo. Their shows include different styles of music from pop, rock, classical and old Albanian music.

The girls recently appeared on Televizioni Koha – Tetovë, FYR Macedonia, where they were interviewed and talked about their music and showed videos of concerts they performed at. Due Voche also performed in the studio.

Dorina returns with beautiful ballad ‘Rruga e zemres’

Dorina has released a charming and emotional ballad called Rruga e zemres (The road of the heart). The video is beautifully filmed and Dorina looks delightful and elegant.

Rruga e zemres is composed by Joniad Banushi and Vojsava Alia. The orchestration is by Joniad Banushi.

Dorina has released several hit music videos including the irresistible Edhe nje nate. She is also a very successful video director and producer with DArt Channel and DArt Kids.

It was in 2009 that Dorina was on the Eurovision stage in Moscow as part of the Albanian team with Kejsi Tola and Carry Me In Your Dreams.

Valza

Check out the sound of Valza and her new song ‘Aman’

Valza is a popular young artist from Albania. She has just released her brand new single entitled Aman. It is an upbeat song with some ethnic strings and has a strong production.

Aman is composed by MIXEY and Endrit Mumajesi (MUMA). MIXEY produced the track also. The song can be downloaded or streamed from digital sites such as Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Deezer.

Valza also released another track in late 2018 called Mon Ami. Again this another upbeat track with a strong vibe.

Ambra/Baby

AmbrA and ‘Baby’ is now available to stream on Spotify

A popular song from the summer of 2018 in Albania was Baby by AmbrA. ESC Covers told you about this upbeat track in May of last year.

Baby has now been released to stream on Spotify and now even more accessible to an international audience.

We look forward to hearing more music from AmbrA soon.

A new artist to look out for is Klea. She has released a new song and music video for Me mu (With me). It is a cool and upbeat song with a strong vibe and powerful production.

The music video is released courtesy of the respected DArt Kids video channel in Albania and released via ArkivaShqip and licensed to Acromax Media Music.

I am sure this is just beginning of a colourful career for Klea in music.

A recent release from Albania to listen to is I’ll Give You My Heart by Arilena Ara. It is a powerful and upbeat song with a strong production. The song is composed by Darko Dimitrov and lyrics are by Arnita Beqiraj.

Darko Dimitrov is a prolific songwriter and producer and has also been responsible writing or producing several Eurovision songs such as Ninanajna (Elena Risteska – 2006 ESC FYR Macedonia);  Pred da se razdeni (Esma Redžepova & Vlatko Lozanoski – 2013 ESC FYR Macedonia); To The Sky (Tijana – 2014 ESC FYR Macedonia); I’m Alive by (Elhaida Dani – 2015 ESC Albania); Lost And Found (Eye Cue – 2018 ESC FYR Macedonia) and Nova deca (Sanja Ilić & Balkanika – 2018 ESC Serbia).

Arilena Ara is a popular singer in Albania and took part in the X Factor Albania in 2012-13 season. She has had several hit songs and videos.

Jonida Maliqi/Ktheju tokës

Jonida Maliqi will represent Albania at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Ktheju Tokës’

Jonida Maliqi has won the Festivali I Këngës #57 with the song Ktheju Tokës (Restore the earth) and will represent Albania at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Israel next May.

The finalists that took part at the Pallati i Kongreseve in Tirana were –

The talented songwriter Eriona Rushiti is the composer of Ktheju Tokës. The song is dramatic and passionately performed by Jonida.

Inis Neziri

Albania: Inis Neziri wins The Young Artist Of The Year award

Inis Neziri has added to her successful year by winning The Young Artist Of The Year award by the Ministry of Culture in Albania.

Inis won the much respected Cerbul de Aur – Golden Stag festival in Romania. She also had success at other festivals like the Tra La La competition in FYR Macedonia.

Most recently Inis won the Best Duet prize, together with Flori Nazifi, at the 2018 Kënga Magjike festival on TV Klan.

Of course, the end of 2017 and the start of 2018 began with Inis singing the very popular Piedestal at the Festivali i Këngës #56 Eurovision national selection in Albania.
